• Don’t think about Keith never crying about Shiro’s disappearance because his brain hasn’t had the time to register the news and there’s no way he’s gone. He’s definitely coming back. 
  
• Don’t think about how weeks or months after he gets kicked out of the Garrison for getting angry about having no rescue team sent, he comes back to the shack after a hard day of researching to suddenly find a picture of him and Shiro. 
  
• Don’t think about how reality just slaps him in the face when he sees it and notices that he hasn’t seen Shiro in months even after the news and he’s heard nothing about the Kerberos mission from that portable radio that he has on all the time and he just feels the dread in his stomach grow because his brain finally registers that Shiro is gone and he’s probably never going to see him again.
