I’m sorry my screenshots don’t do the quality justice but the background doesn’t look too “cartoony” for once! That tree looks like a real fucking textured tree and I’m not even looking at it up close!! The lighting/reflection on Chat’s back can faintly reflect the sky light with the clouds!!! So if you pay attention carefully, you will see in this episode, Chat Noir tried not to fight back to Papa Garou (Weredad), instead he tried to convince Tom and got hurt badly. He knew he hurt Marinette and her father got akumatized because of that. Papa Garou almost took his Miraculous and Hawk Moth almost won.

But still, in the end, everything back to normal, and even though he was exhausted, Chat Noir used his Cataclysm to help Ladybug and then collapsed onto her shoulder.

He trusted her so much that he knew she would catch him if he fall.

That’s just… beautiful…
