  • Brain: actually, a pairing like this would be beneficial to the narrative itself and serve to flesh out topics already set up in season 1: coran might begin to recall the kind of relationship that the alteans and galra once had before Zarkon's rule, and thace might provide some kind of hope for repairing that relationship. It would bring two extremes together and force them to think about questions long in need of consideration. how diplomatic were the alteans, ultimately, to have created the greatest weapon in the galaxy? how far are the last remaining two willing to take their ideals of peace? can one truly forgive the force that destroyed their entire people? should one, if given the chance? is there a way for the galra to exist outside of the Empire? can they live as they are, without hurting others? are galrans inherently monstrous and consumptive, or can they, cliche as it sounds, learn to love?
