The hugs are evolving.

Star hugs Marco, whom is surprised but still happy.

Marco hugs Star, whom is surprised by her bestie taking the initiative, but is more than happy.

Both are sad, they need a hug. And they go for it at the same time.

Heartwarming friendship moment after a long afternoon / day / seconds of danger / separation. The natural thing to do is hug. By know Marco knows it, he’s ready to do it without any signal or preparation.

I just noticed something. In all of the hugs except the first and last only stars face was visible for the hug. It’s been focusing on stars feelings this entire time. This makes me wonder, how long has star had a crush on Marco. And since they showed both faces for this hug does that mean more focus on Marcos feeling soon? Or am I just over thinking this? Edit- I meant they we’re focusing on stars face. There were a few where Marcos face we’re visible. But I’m speculating that stara crush began at the end of season one because after that episode is whenmarcos face wasn’t visible. But yeah ignore me lmao- Atlas
