This is part 4/4 of the comic from Chapter 4 of @insanitysbloomings​ / @insanitysscribblings​  fanfic, “Back to Us,” which takes place 7 years after the defeat of Hawk Moth, and Adrien has been through some traumatizing shiznit, which messes with his morals and logic and puts the heroes at odds with each other.

That last panel tho, SO MUCH ANGST, lol  >_<  The author left it up to the reader to interpret how Marinette must be feeling, and she has literally just had A REALLY CRAPPY DAY™ so it felt natural to have her finally crumble when she finds out she is truly alone even though her “partner” has returned.

I probably won’t be doing these kinds of heavy-duty, fully-rendered comics for a while, it just takes too long and I’ve got too many ideas floating in my head, I really need to get them out a bit faster so I don’t explode.  XD  I’m soooo glad I did it though, I got so much technical practice, plus it’s an awesome story!  And it’s so much fun drawing them as young adults  ^^
