Yes. Comics. The comics that harley quinn originated in. Harley Quinn, original comic book character. Comic books, the only medium Harley Quinn has ever appeared in, comics, nothing else.

For those who aren’t in on the joke, Harley Quinn is what TvTropes refers to as a canon immigrant. This refers to a character, who originates in a different medium, that eventually makes it back into the original. Harley does not come from comics, but instead originated in “Joker’s Favor,” an episode of Batman: The Animated Series. In fact, Harley’s first comic appearance didn’t happen until a year later (September 1993 in The Batman Adventures #12).

So if someone complains about you or someone else dressing up like Harley and not reading comics? They’re the one that doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
