OK but watch the third gif did anyone else notice how branches eyes go to creeks hand as he moves it closer like he really doesn’t want him to touch him
And the second gif, he sizes Creek up and eyes his fist while he’s moving back. Creek has Branch pressed against the side of the frame and for the viewer it’s extremely clear how much power Creek has in this scene.
This entire scene does a lot to imply they’ve had interactions before, from the looks Branch gives him (oh great thus guy) to Branch’s body language, clutching his sticks to his chest as if Creek is going to slap them out of his hands.
I will also point out that while everyone else seems generally tired of Branch’s attitude, Creek is the only one to be genuinely patronizing of Branch, and even goes so far as to mock his vest.
The more I look at the scene the more it bothers me a lot because I absolutely detest people who use their influence and confidence like this.
The second gif really, really hurt me
