The reason Victor
gives Yuuri for why he left Russia to become his coach is “because of the music.” He says Yuuri creates this with his body.
Poetic, right? Maybe more than you think.
Let’s rewind to the scene where Yuuri skates Victor’s “Stay
Close to Me” routine. The one that inspired Victor to come to Japan.
What’s interesting to me is that Yuuri isskating without music. We hear it in the episode because it’s playing in the arena where Victor
is, and the scenes are overlaid.
But where Yuuri is, it’s silent. The boy hears Victor’s song in his head.
Yuko recognizes the routine because she’s seen it before.
Not because Yuuri put on music. She recognizes the first pose.
Which means…
Yuuri’s viral video is silent. He literally makes Victor hear the music with his body.
That’s because right over left is used for corpses

It makes a “y” shape if it’s worn right. That’s a good way to remember. Anyone got pics of traditional Mongolian garb to add to this? Can’t remember what they’re called.
