haha ok so first I was like awww Lance reminds Coran of himself

but then I remembered Coran lost his wife and baby boy in the war with the Galra in golion…

and that it’s possible Coran sees Lance as someone who his dead son might have grown up to be like if he lived… like you know, all like his dad and all.. and that’s why Lance is his fav…
