Honestly I love JJ to bits and I'm lowkey sad that a good portion of the fandom hates him. I love his confidence and cockiness and made me so happy to be Canadian. So when everyone started saying how annoying he was I was kind heartbroken. JJ was a character that made me very happy to have taken skating lessons for 8 years before I quit. I had a lot of unhappy memories during those time but he reminded me why I continued to skate for how long I did.
Aww! Good for you! I’m glad you kept on doing what you love despite the odds! Kudos to you! I just set aside his haters, like really. Idgaf about what they say. I really stand by the fact that we have our own likes and dislikes. To each their own, right? As long as we don’t retaliate with the same intensity and hate as they do, we cool. I have friends who dislike JJ but we don’t freaking throw shade at one another. Let’s all be classy and enjoy our favorite characters and the character we ship them with. Let’s just do our own thing and spread the JJ luurve~
