I tag @dalerianroot @k3ithkogane and anyone else who wants to do it. Thanks for following my dumb little blog ❤Can we talk about how this is the moment when Victor realized that Yuuri wasn’t the “prince” he met at the gala.
This is important to me because I thought that he was talking about Yuuri’s potential but no, he was talking about Yuuri, about his person. He knew how charming Yuuri could be, he went to Japan because of it, and then he discovered that his prince was just a marshmallow full with anxiety and katsudon. But he left?? NO HE IS HERE NOW WITH A RING IN HIS HAND BECAUSE HE WANTED TO BE WITH YUURI AND KNOW HIM BETTER AND THAT’S SO CUTE AND PURE AND I LOVE VICTOR NIKIFOROV SO MUCH
Look how in love with each other they are- no one would look at another person like this unless they are totally smitten with them.
-Their eyes are completely endearing and focused on one another
-Their hands are holding onto the other affectionately
-The little blush they both have because they are having a moment where they know the other feels the same way
People can say Viktor and Yuuri still aren’t ‘canon’ (how I have no idea) but it is absolutely clear to anyone with sense that these 2 are soulmates who truly care for one another- every emotion and action is reciprocated and they support and hold affection for each other both physically and mentally.
This is exactly how LGBT relationships should be portrayed in all anime.
I’m getting married in a few weeks and decided to get Viktuuri themed nails for my Hen’s night haha. I actually really like them! (glitter not showing up great though :( )
I
keep seeing Yuuri referred to as wife/mum and I honestly don’t
understand the appeal, it’s not cute?
They are both established as being men so it makes far
more sense they should both be called husband/dad, neither one is a
woman.
Referring to one as a wife/mum just seems a tad demasculinating,
like Yuuri is not ‘manly’ enough?
I’m just legitimately curious as to why
people do this.
I’m in a gay relationship and if someone was
referring to me as the 'wife/mum’ (in the case we had kids) just because
I’m smaller and more feminine than my boyfriend I’d want yell at them
to be honest because it’s kinda offensive.
I have been demasculinised
in the past (by both men and women) purely for how I look and honestly it is not a nice feeling, I cannot help my looks nor should I be made to feel demasculinsed for my features.
There is nothing wrong with being a woman of course but as a man having feminine features and being small in stature does not automatically make me ‘womanly’ or give people a valid reason to call me feminine terms as I still identify as being a man.
I’m still actually a man, just like my partner. Neither of us is the wife/mum.woman- we would both be husbands.
So it kind of irks me
when I see Yuuri called wife/mum as he is a man too, just like Viktor. So please call him a husband/dad too as that’s what him and Viktor as men would be.
I hope this makes sense (english is not my first language :) )
