Voltron Street Racing AU

Shiro

• Shiro built his Ford Shelby
• He’s a former champion racer. He started racing when he was around 17 and has never lost a race.
• He used to train/race with Keith before he disappeared.
• He disappeared after a he got in a car crash. Popped up a year later with his right arm missing
• Shiro was blackmailed by the Galra and owes them a lot of money
• He kept it a secret for a while becuse he didn’t want to worry the others but ended up telling them later on

Keith

• Drives a red Nissan GT-R (he stole and modified it for street racing)
  
• Used to race/train with Shiro when he was younger
  
• Dropped out of college and started officially street racing to look for Shiro
  
• He stayed to help Shiro pay off his debts
  
• He likes to challenge himself 
• Keith loves the thrill of racing and likes to take unnesecary risks

Lance

• He built his Honda Civic with Hunk
  
• It’s blue.
• Started racing to help his family with money issues
• used to be really bad at racing but Allura took pity on him and took him under her wing
  
• Doesn’t lose too often but he could be better.
• He named his car Blue, after his cat.
  
• His car means a lot to him
• Immedeatly declared him and Keith “rivals”
• No one thinks they’re rivals
• Whenever they race Lance usually loses
• What really happened was that Lance start curshing on Keith immedeatly and didn’t know how to cope.

Hunk

• Main mechanic for the Alteans
  
• Doesn’t really race but he and Lance started together
  
• Drives a yellow Mitsubishi 
  
• Everyone wants to race him for some reason
  
• Knows a lot about racing and cars.
  

Pidge

• Mechanic alongside Hunk
  
• She also races alongside the others every now and then
  
• Her car is a pale green Audi R8
  
• Trains with Shiro And Keith
  
• Everyone thinks that her, Shiro, and Keith are “rivals”
  
• They play along
• Started street racing to find her brother and her dad
  
• She’s really passionate about street racing and rarely loses.
  

Allura

• Drives a silver Lexus IS
  
• She started street racing to find who killed her father
  
• She takes in new comers she sees potential in
• Head of the Altean crew
• Everyone knows who she is
• Sweet af but will fuck you up
• Nobody messes with her
• She’s the only one that has ever beaten Shiro
  
• Wealthy

The overall plot is that Shiro disappeared and then reappeared about a year later missing his right arm and in some deep depth to the Galra. In this racing au, during big races people gamble some big money on who wins.
