So I just woke up, and the first thing my sister tells me is that they gave Tracer a girlfriend in the new comic ??

And that they made Hanzo look edgy as hell ??

… a lot of things!
A need to be somewhere beyond our world.

The desire for something more beyond what we live in our lives.

An escape into a new world where things seem… right.

Where we see ourselves in the heroes.

Fiction is what allows us to feel and relate with things that often seem out of our grasp.

Puts it in a way we can understand and feel… that broadens who we are.

That teaches us so many things we never thought we needed to know.

Brings something new to us that makes each day feel so much more exciting.

That can make us laugh when absolutely nothing feels right in the world around us.

Fiction has been someting that humans have always sought after. Always. Folklore passed down through generations, oral traditions, tales of grandure and dramas and comedies… plays, books, paintings, myth…
Where the impossible becomes possible. Where we’re in control. Where the drive of reality and the world is escapable. Where there is something more beyond what we see and experience daily.
We love fiction because it brings out the best of us. It gives us the best of what we have.
What we have made.
