Changing up how I approach my daily doodles has been one of the best things I’ve done this month.  Starting out with a smaller, set canvas shape has sparked doodle ideas in different ways, and freed up some of the mental pressure I would occasionally get to “hurry up and draw something for the daily journal!!1!1!”

I’ve been calling these square canvas doodles “art blocks”, because they’re helping me break through some of my current art woes.  It also sounds more fun than .. well, actual art blocks.

OK SOOOO I’m not sure if i will be online much tomorrow, and since my art style pretty much gives me away (defeating the purpose of even trying to submit this anonymously lol) i might as well come out and say that I’m your Secret Santa from the skype chat :3c (sorry abt the anticlimactic reveal forgive me)

so I was thinking, lets take a look at what we know

• we know that Keith and Shiro attended the Garrison at the same time
• we know that Shiro and Keith knew each other

• we know that Shiro went on the Kerberos mission
  
• we know that Shiro and crew have been missing for a year
• we know that Keith was kicked out of the Garrison
  
• we know that Keith was kicked out of the Garrison, ONE YEAR ago, meaning he was booted after the failure of the Kerberos mission (based on this amazing post)
• we know Keith was the best pilot in his class

• we know that after getting booted from the garrison, Keith felt lost

• we know that Keith can be temperamental and relies on impulse
  

Now here is what we can infer

• We can infer Keith and Shiro were buddies pre-Kerberos
  
• We can infer Keith loves being a pilot (evidence he felt lost after getting booted from the garrison)
• We can infer that Keith DID NOT want to get booted from the garrison 

Lastly, we can infer that Keith was so distraught with the result of the Kerberos mission, that the usual “reserved and quite” Keith became so temperamental, so emotional at the thought of it being a “pilot error”, at the thought of losing Shiro, that he was labeled as having a “discipline issue” and was flunked out. 

We can infer that Shiro might have meant more to Keith than just a buddy.

i mean,,, it’d be that plot twist no one is expecting. the whole fandom is freaking out about galra keith and shiro getting captured meanwhile the writers are laughing cuz we wouldn’t see this coming
