when you’ve been drawing for years and you still don’t have a concrete art style

do you ever sit and think about your female ancestors and like how many of them endured forced marriages, sexual abuse, physical violence and complete deprivation of education and autonomy and suffered silently for literally centuries. going through pregnancies and child birth without modern medicine, having multiple children and watching most of them die before the age of five because that was just the way of life back then? and ultimately you are a product of their pain? i think about them a lot and then i think about how many women continue to share their reality in this current year
lol u ever get tired of having to pretend to react to shit? “omg how do u feel now that ur abt to graduate!!” im uhhhhhh shitting my pants Margaret im great

Hmm I soft disagree but I get where you’re coming from. I mean, Voltron isn’t a romance––I know of course that a lot of fandom is focused on shipping because that’s kind of the nature of fandoms, but the show is not really about that. I think, though, that it has a lot to explore in relationships whether they’re platonic or romantic. If there is romance I don’t expect (or want) it to be the main focus and I don’t want it to be forced into the narrative, but I do think it could be done really well. And if there’s a chance of there being interracial and/or same-gender romantic relationships, that representation matters.
God lance is just so fucking precious he helps pidge wade through a fountain for coins so she can buy a video game??
He catches a coin in his teeth and is just as excited as she is about getting it??
He takes a cow???
He thinks very highly of his team and is able to point out their strengths and good traits but can’t do the same for himself??
He’s just so great??? I love lance????
