I don’t think it’s that deep it’s just their dynamic.

Like when Chat was like, I understand why you would fall in love with me I am amazing and Marinette rolls her eyes.
Or in Reflekta where LB was making fun of him and he was like… you’re not funny and she was all i definitely am.
Or when LB was like… this is unreal and Chat came back with sassy noir about magical butterflies and pharaohs.

When people actively choose to misgender and deadname a trans person because they don’t like them as an individual or “they don’t deserve my respect” that’s transphobia.
Pronouns are not dependant on respect. I don’t see you all going around purposely misgendering cis people because you don’t like them.
Our pronouns are not conditional. And regardless of what kind of person the trans individual is their pronouns will never be something you have a right to deny them. Ever.
If you don’t like someone, that’s fine. But don’t use that as an excuse to be transphobic. That’s not okay.
