-When using Eclipsa’s spells Star can do things that presumably other’s can’t (assuming affecting another area with the all-seeing eye is abnormal, plus breaking through the all-seeing eye)
-Her skill level (obviously)

Eclipsa ran away from Mewni to be with a monster, and we can assume that affected the kingdom poorly. Moon and River are scared this will happen again, with their daughter nonetheless.

But that’s ridiculous, Star doesn’t love a monster.

True, but she did refuse to go back to Mewni. She doesn’t want to go back. Like Eclipsa, she’s found someone she loves more than her kingdom. Guess who?
