Oh anon,, I don’t believe that you are a 7th wheel, everyone is important, everyone has their thing. it took me a long time to find my thing, and even now, sometimes I feel like that odd wheel out. Like group projects? yeah I’m not the one leading them. participate in group discussions? the person who barely speaks up.

and like, I get it, I do. trust me, I do, I know what it feels like to be useless, I know what it feels like to be overlooked. it sucks. there’s no denying that. 

but like there’s this one quote that I live by, and call me a nerd, but it’s from the 11th doctor, from DW, and it goes like this: I’ve never met someone who wasn’t important.

and really I haven’t, I’ve never met someone who wasn’t important in some way. and if you need someone, ever, I can be your cheerleader. Because I believe in you, you’ll find what you're good at, you’ll find what your passion is, and you’ll take it and run.

Lance might think he’s the 7th wheel, but we all know that the team would’ve never gotten where it is now without him. and whoever your team is, anon, they need you too. don’t give up. don’t ever give up. I know it’s hard, I know that today seems like it should be the end, but as soon as you give up, you’re giving up on the chance to make things better.

take each day at a time, take it as a gift, just know that you will always have people in your corner. hell, even if you never come off anon, but consistently come to me about this, you’ll have someone. I know I’m not the best person for everything, but I can at least point you in the right direction, ok?

Emerald sometimes writes I hate you, asshole when he forgot to buy shampoo once again. 

Who buys the other cheesy gifts

Mercury sometimes gets her these chocolates with marzipan she absolutely hates just so he can eat them himself. Does that count? 

Who initiated the first kiss

He did. She punched him. And then kissed him again. 

Who kisses the other awake in the morning

She feels more affectionate and cheesy about him in the morning, so yeah, totally her.

Who starts tickle fights

Most of the time he does, most of the time he wins. Unless she uses her semblance. Which she totally does.

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower

They both don’t ask, they just do it. Despite the angry glares it gets them somtimes. But it’s more for practical than sexy reasons. 

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch

What they totally do is taking turns as to who gets both of them lunch. But it’s not a surprise. 

Who was nervous and shy on the first date

They didn’t really have a real date, they’re more the kind of couple that looks like really good friends on the outside because they do the normal friends stuff, watching a movie together or arguing about it while getting pizza. 

Who kills/takes out the spiders

Emerald, but not without taking it out and then pretending she’s still holding it in her hands and chasing him through the entire appartment until he almost jumps out of the window and still screams he’s totally not scared of spiders. 

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk

Mercury. If he ever gets drunk.
