What if Keith slowly transformed. Like super slow and painful and he didn't want to tell anyone because what if they act like Allura did when she found out he was galra? Anyways lance finds out... What do you think would happen in t hat situation (◔ᴗ◔)

If it was a slow process I don’t think it would be that painful. Probably really close to growing pains and puberty basically.

So like Keith gets even moodier than normal, and once he starts seeing the changes he pulls away from the team because he doesn’t know what’s going on. Then fur starts growing, no one really notices that much, because he wears his jacket and pants a lot, but once it starts on his face Keith all but disappears from the group, only wearing his paladin armor and keeping his helmet on until he’s alone.

Ofc Red is worried about him, she knew from the beginning that he was part galra and still loves and trusts him deeply. But she hates seeing her paladin struggling. And you can’t tell me that the lions don’t communicate so red blabs to blue about this. And in turn blue tells lance to check on keith. She’s super vague about it but lance is like what’s wrong with my teammate?

So he barges into Keith’s room while he’s in the middle of changing and sees him looking like a half galra and Keith freezes and internally freaks out.

Lance is pretty much the 0_0 emoji before he gets ahokd of himself and is like why the hell haven’t you told us anything keith???

Keith is like dude i don’t even know what’s happening to me and you want me to tell the team?

Cue lance telling Keith to hurry up and change before dragging him to the pods and telling him to get in one. It’s really just for a diagnosis. And when Keith comes back out after a few minutes, lance basically tells him that you’re more galra than we thought at first. (I’m basing this post s2-ep8) (and you can’t tell me that lance hasn’t picked up some altean either, my boy be smart, let him be smart)

So Keith basically has another freak out. And lance is like dude it’s ok, we just gotta tell the team the truth.

So on they go to tell the team.

Pidge and hunk take it pretty well. The surprise is how well allura and coran take it. I’d imagine after getting over themselves, they’re pretty receptive about it.

So like Keith is relieved that the team isn’t treating him any differently, even tho he’s a little snappier than usual, they’re just treating him like he’s always been normal Keith.

Space fam sticks together, even if one is basically having an identity crisis. ^^
