negative tags i hate being so into meta/analysis/theories?? bc yeah its fun to get the idea for these things and to engage with ppl who are just as enthusiastic abt the unknown as i am but that initial excitement is immediately followed with 'but the fandom isnt gonna like this' and maybe its just me but i would put the mob mentality of the fandom over my own personal happiness in creativity any day and just. everyone's entitled to feel however the fuck they want about the show but a lot of the times i dont feel the same way as many of the ppl ive surounded myself with and id rather just keep my mouth shut & let them be content with their feelings than to just create and analyze the way i want like. ive thought of so many different ways to connect the tiny bit of new info we got today into a potential s3 i want to write fic and meta and shit but everyone hates ///// so whats the point in taking the time to create and to hope for decent writing from the show itself god im really sorry for venting abt this here i know its annoying and theres already so much negatvity as is im just im so tired vld means so much to me but i feel genuinely bad for enjoying it and honestly i just dont want to create for it anymore skye.txt

I love… completely evil villains

Zarkon had past as a Paladin. He had the trust of alfor and allura at some point, he used to be good. He’s lawful evil, doing everything according to his plan, not moving from that.

Haggar gets closer to the beautiful, beautiful spot of completely evil villain, but I just Feel And Know that dreamworks is gonna bring in some backstory where she got corrupted, or how she was good like zarkon once, or just. Something to make her less evil.

But lotor.

LOTOR.

As far as we know this guys been born and raised under his fathers empire. All he’s ever known is the tyranny his father rules with, and I want him to LOVE IT. No bullshit arc where he has some internal angst wondering if he could be good if he left all he’s ever known. No, let him realize that the galra empire IS all he’s ever known, and let him LOVE THAT. Let him be completely evil without remorse. Let him laugh as he kills someone random, he doesn’t even know who they are, just because he likes the sound his sword makes going through their body. Let him strive to catch voltron because it’s FUN for him, to go and annihilate the do-gooders of the universe. Don’t make it so that he’s doing everything to please his father, no. Let him be the villain who is 300% evil, with nothing about him that could possibly be ever counted as good. Those are the best and most interesting villains, and I love them. It’s exactly what Lotor could (and SHOULD) be.
