I personally think she won’t. She has no agency to be. She is a hero in her mind. Why would she listen to anyone about being a better hero? She is the most important one. She is Scarlet Lady. That ego boost keeps her from any sort of growth that isn’t negative or self serving.

She is the irredeemable bully with an ego to match. (And when it comes to Salt au’s this one is a work of art, and one that dragged my a$$ back to the fandom)

So I would say impossible, unless something drastic or dark happens

Is it sad that this was the moment when I realized that it wasn’t gabriel who sent him? I mean gabriel a clever man? We just finished hearing he used pigeon man 24 times. He akumatized a baby (by mistake but still he didn’t get rid of the akuma and he tried explaining to the baby that it needs to steal the miraculous) he akumatized small children, 4 times (manon, the twins, sandboy, and nino’s little bro) he knew the identity of one of the miraculous users (chloe) and didn’t try to take advantage of that until like a season later.

Anyway, I like the theory that lila is the future hawkmoth, as she is already close to both hawkmoth and gabriel it gives her easy access to throw him over, and she does hate ladybug, wants power, and has proven to be clever enough. Have to say I am very disappointed that we couldn’t see future ladybug and chatnoir. But otherwise the episode was very good

I’ve seen some speculation on this scene. (Yes I made a gif for the first time in years because a screenshot does not suffice for this.)

There have been some comments that maybe this means their relationship will be on again-off again, or that they still won’t be together in the future.

But um… I’m thinking it’s more simple than that. My first thought was that she’s simply referencing the love square and how they keep missing each other for awhile. I don’t think it’s that far-fetched that future Alix knows their identities and is just indirectly commenting on how crazy their love life is without actually confirming anything to them. We know that an identity reveal between these two is coming at some point in the series (Jeremy Zag said that it’s already been written), and I would think that it would be entirely possible for other heroes to know at some point in the future, too.
