OKAY YEAH so your characterization of Lance is literally so effing good, definitely the best of what I’ve read in the fandom. I adore how you're able to walk the line of giving Lance a realistic, natural personality while retaining so much of the bright beautiful but v exaggerated boy we know from canon!! You exhibit such a empathy and genuine care for Lance by taking such efforts with his characterization, and it’s just one part of what makes your fics so marvelous to read! Thank you! (2/2)

hi!! this isn’t pushy at all, and i didn’t receive the other messages…..curse you tumblr app……and i’m also sorry i’ve taken all morning to respond to these messages, but i’m just now getting to my computer and i wanted to be able to format them properly (curse you tumblr app!!!)

anyways i am genuinely so so so very flattered and pleased and happy ;A; i mostly hear from people that they like how i write keith, but knowing that my interpretation of lance is something you connect with or agree with is just – really lovely. i always want to try to make lance as fun and joyful as lance is in canon, while giving him the gravitas he deserves (i don’t ever want him to be the comic relief or the stereotypical flirt), but also without ever making him into an angst-fest. i just want these boys to be realistic boys! i do sometimes feel like i have to try extra hard with lance because he’s so much more complicated than people give him credit for, and it’s really gratifying to know that all of that work is really worth it. thank you so so much for the message anon <3 it really made my morning. i hope you have a fantastic day today!
