Sure!! I’m not sure when I’ll get the chance to draw stuff for it so heres a few things I had planned for it :-)

1. Keith was (accidentally?) brought back on a mission and it wasn’t long before Shiro caught wind around the Garrison of the little Galra boy that no one was exactly sure what to do with. When he saw the tiny scared kid behind the glass of the examination room he saw Keith for exactly what he was, just a tiny scared kid, and he convinced the lead as to why it would be in everyones best interest if Keith could come home with him and be raised, then study at the Garrison later on. He did believe in what he was saying, but in all honesty his heart just sank for the boy, and he couldn’t bear to leave him trapped alone in a sterile white room while people of questionable concern decided his fate.

Keith takes awhile to warm up to Shiro, but Shiro doesn’t give up on him. A few weeks later Shiro brings Keith back for a check up and Keith throws a temper tantrum with a force Shiro has never witnessed before, but he does everything he can to reassure him that he’s not going anywhere, he still gets to come home with him. Keith clings with a vice grip to Shiro’s shirt the ENTIRE time, and after the poor baby’s long day, he falls asleep on Shiro on the ride home. Watching Keith relaxed on him, with his little chest gently rising and falling, Shiro realizes just how much he loves this kid.

And now Shiro is not only newly thrust into single fatherhood, but with a purple alien baby none the less. And unfortunately for him, theres no wikihows on how to raise Galra kids.

2. Keith chews on things to self-soothe. Just about everything he can get his mouth on, but his chewing objects of choice are usually Shiro’s shirts. Poor Shiro’s wallet has taken a hit because of it, as new tiny holes seem to appear on all of his t-shirts every time he does laundry.

3. They sleep on the same futon! Because its cute, and Keith very attached to Shiro

4. Keith may not feel self-conscious about his Galra appearance when he’s with Shiro, but he is painfully aware of just how different he is from the human kids when he’s at school. The kids are by no means blind to him being Galra as well, and Keith has no idea how to deal with them other than pushing and shoving. That goes for the kids who pick on him, but also for the kids who are just curious about him as well. Keith’s not entirely sure what any of their intentions are, and he has a very apparent “me versus them” mentality. His teacher, Coran, has spoken with Shiro many times about Keith’s difficulties with relating to other students and his tendencies towards violence, and Shiro does his best to guide Keith in the right direction, but really isn’t entirely confident in his father skills yet. Thats when-

5. - Coran suggests that Keith be moved to Allura’s class. It might be better to start fresh since many of the kids in Coran’s class either avoid Keith or are afraid of him. Shiro agrees, and talks to Keith about how to make friends, or at the very least, almost begs him to not shove anyone anymore. On his first day, Keith is not only shy, but decides that if he doesn’t talk to anyone, he won’t feel like he needs to shove them. To bad for him, a starry-eyed little brown haired boy named Lance is absolutely and utterly enthralled with Keith from second one (I know I said Lance was his Uncle buuuut I changed it).

6. After introducing him, Allura lets Keith go pick a seat. Her and Shiro have already talked extensively about how this would go, which quickly turned into her reassuring the ramblings of a worried, loving father. Lance beckons Keith to sit at his table, with Pidge and Hunk, but Keith beelines for the empty table in the back and ignores Lance.

7. Lance is having absolutely none of that, and he picks up his chair and moves it to Keiths table. Allura is silently happy that he’s such an outgoing boy for once. Keith does his best to ignore Lance, but Lance is very persistent. When it comes to recess, in Lance’s undeterred excitement to become Keiths friend, he grabs Keith’s arm to drag him along to play. Keith is overstimulated and irritated, and deals with the contact in the first way he knows how to. He shoves Lance on the grass, and immediately feels guilty as he sees Lance staring up at him in confusion, mostly due to the fact that he’s let his dad down already.

8. Instead of being afraid of Keith, Lance has enough siblings to know this game pretty well. So Keith likes wrestling? Lance loves wrestling! He’s beat both his older brother and older sister before. He starts play fighting Keith, who doesn’t exactly understand whats going on, but he does know that Lance isn’t scared of him. Allura sees, and starts coming over, and Lance uh oh’s, and quickly whispers to Keith to say that they were just playing so they don’t get detention. Allura reaches them, and asks whats going on, to which Lance responds that they weren’t fighting, they were just playing, and she looks to Keith to ask the same thing. Keith nods fervently and repeats what Lance said. Allura lets her stern gaze linger before smiling. She can’t wait to tell Shiro that Keith is already getting along with someone in the class. She tells them to play nicely and leaves, and when the coast is clear, Lance and Pidge giggle because they totally got out of trouble!! That could have ended super bad, Lance assures Keith, and tells him about the time he accidentally spat gum into another kids hair. Allura was sooo mad. Have you seen a firetruck, Keith? Did you know people’s faces could turn that color too?? Keith is listening, happy to have avoided trouble, and also quietly sitting with the fact that these are the first people that were not driven away by the way he is. Later that night, Shiro tears up at the table when Keith tells him about how his day went.

9. The next day, when Lance beckons Keith to sit at their table, Keith joins them :-)
