I took up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu not long ago and thought too much about Keith and Lance doing BJJ training. It’s very much a contact sport and I’ve had more people in between my legs over the past few weeks than I’ve had my entire life.
Edit: I also tried to draw a collar choke in that last one but you can’t really see Keith pulling the lapels ahahahahjsdhjsa

Ah sure sure! It’s just a silly self-indulgent thing, because I fell in love with Japan and I often wondered what it would be like if the Voltron crew lived there in modern day.
In my AU, Lance and Keith are college sweethearts and Lance gets a job teaching English and Spanish in a language center in Tokyo. Keith follows him and manages to snag jobs as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Taekwondo instructor (a spin-off from my BJJ!Voltron AU)
Allura is Lance’s boss in the language center he works at, Shiro is the head instructor in the MMA gym Keith teaches BJJ at (he teaches Taekwondo at another center).
Keith and Lance are slow to make friends in Tokyo so they decide to each invite a friend over for a small dinner party. Shiro and Allura meet at said dinner party and end up hitting it off instantly.
It’s mostly domesticated/daily-life fluff, I’m trying to get a zine out that’s mostly focusing on this AU.
