ok this is like gonna be a huge reach but like hear me out on this one:

in the scene where lance is talking about the paladins in escape from beta traz.

this is literally one second before he starts talking about keith:

this is meanwhile he’s talking about him:

and this is one second after he finishes talking about him:

see some similarities?? well it’s pratically the exact same expression. they freaking….animated that bit while he was talking about keith on purpose to make him!!! look fond!!!! i see u all @ animators

I MEAN IT WAS but i liked the first one better !! i felt really uninterested during some parts of this one and i didnt laugh too much bc i found the humor to be a bit bland ! it was plenty predictable to me and idk i found myself sitting there just thinking abt other things rather than the movie in front of me. it kinda gave me this sorta vibe of, “hey we’re a big movie franchise now so we dont have to try as hard as we did on the first to appeal to the audience” but thats jus me
however ! i still lov the characters sm (especially yondu, rocket, gamora, and peter) and i was p heavily invested in some parts (CougH CouGh) so it was still p good :0 i can pick out a select few scenes that chilled me to the core thats how much i liked it
