As @wittyy-name already mentioned, today it’s been a year ago since we started to collaborate on Voltron stuff and Operation: Time Out was posted. These are 12 pieces of art that I’ve done since joining the fandom a year ago, one for each month, in order from August 2016 to July 2017.
I felt incredibly stuck in my art before I got into Voltron. I didn’t have a whole lot of motivation to draw and improve my art, even though I wanted to it was difficult to get anything done ever. It was hard and discouraging for a long time. Voltron inspired me and brought me a bunch of motivation that I hadn’t felt in years.
I’ve drawn so much since, and I have improved so so much through this past year. I’ve made amazing friends, and met and seen so so many talented artists and writers in this fandom.

Here is my art piece for the @sheithbigbang!! This is based off of @soft-eldritch‘s fic, “take to the skies, chasing stardust”. I’ve been wanting to create something for a Treasure Planet au for a while now, so I was really glad to be able to work on one with Miranda, who loves the movie (and cats) just as much as I do. She wrote a wonderful fic, so go check it out! I may draw more for this AU, so keep an eye out :)
