i think it’s hilarious that y’all ask for them and that my followers love solangelo bc i literally never post anything about it unless it’s a drawing/headcanon, lmao  anyway

• So, it’s the classic clique high school soulmate thing, right?  They go to the same school, everyone has some aspect that leads them to their soulmate, Jason has his soulmate (Percy in this case bc i’m Jercy trash) and all is good.
  
• Except it’s really not.
• Your soul mark is two marks.  The first one is a line.  If it’s horizontal, it’s a girl.  If the line is vertical, your soulmate is a boy.  The second mark is a number of dots.  Each dot represents how many set backs this person has, whether it be physical or mental.  
• Your soulmate has depression?  Cool, that’s one dot.  Your soulmate is in a wheelchair?  Awesome, that’s another dot.  
• The only reason it’s like this is because later in the future, it gives you more things in your adult life depending on dots and lines, etc. etc.  It’s very complicated.
• Will Solace has a vertical line and like, a bazillion dots on his arms.  He thought some of them were freckles when he was a kid but no, they ended up being a soul mark.  But he’s not concerned about that.  He knows that he’d love his soulmate no matter what they looked or acted like. 
• Will was straight.  And he had a vertical line on his wrist.  His soulmate was a boy?  He was confused and a bit angry because, why did he get the faulty soul mark?
• Nico di Angelo has a vertical mark and just a few dots so, he’s not worried.  He’s sure that his soul mate is some really chill and awesome dude that he gets to fall in love with someday.  He didn’t expect his soulmate to be his annoying ‘Know-It-All’ Med Science lab partner.
• Will becomes paranoid of all the boys around him.  Both his parents found their soulmates in high school and now, he knows he’s going to find his there.
• Etc. etc., there are months spent of tension and all this stuff.  Now, to find your soulmate, when the ‘perfect’ moment is there, your soul marks start to glow, right? (all that clique shit here, right?)  And so, the boys are in the library when, oh crap, their forearms start glowing.
• Will is almost furious and so is Nico and they’re kicked out because they made a scene in the library and were too loud.
• You’d think that over the past few months, they bonded but no.  They still hate each other.
• So, their parents find out and their dads are like, “Guys, get it together and figure out how to be cool n stuff” so they go on a date.  Will gets ice cream on his shirt and Nico gets bit by a dog and they’re grumpy in the emergency room.
• Will notices that Nico is panicking because he needs a rabbies shot and suddenly, he’s really sad that Nico is so terrified.  He grabs Nico’s hand and holds it and whispers into Nico’s ear that it’s going to be alright.
• At this point, Will can count all the dots and give them reasons on why Nico is broken and he kinda realises that Nico needs him.  (this is also his bi-realisation moment, etc.) and it’s really beautiful.
• #happyending

I ruined my own life

So apparently in that “I got you buddy” scene Lance’s mouth doesn’t move, which someone said meant they didn’t plan on having that phrase put in so it was a last minute thing.

Which also means this dork of a red paladin was legit about to die because he just had to give this blue boy the most fondest look ever with no dialogue prompting him to do so and just…I have truly ascended into a another plane of realization.

The first planet they visit is Earth, of course. Hunk had already visited once to explain the whole Voltron and saving the universe thing to his moms, but this time he gets to bring Shay with him and introduce her to them!!

They love her of course and they all spend the day hanging out and getting to know each other and maybe Hunk gets to show her around the town he grew up in (assuming aliens are like a public thing at that point) and they go shopping and Shay buys some Cool Earth Clothes (PLEASE imagine Shay with a “Sun’s Out, Guns Out” muscle tank) and then Hunk’s moms make them a huge home cooked Earth meal (Hunk and Shay offered to help but they insisted on treating them) and it’s wonderful and the next morning Hunk and Shay wake up real early and climb onto the roof and watch the sunrise together.
