These are a few months old by now, but here are my postcard and illustrations for the @klancezine2017!  The comic was inspired by my bf and I meeting in person for the first time when he visited months ago; they’re meant to be double page spreads but I have no idea if I did them correctly hahaha.  These were some of the first zine pieces I did so it’s kinda amusing to look back at them.

neutral evil: merges all layers as they finish them

chaotic evil: a million blank layers with nothing on any of them

I’ve been wanting to make a comic of this scene for so long. Percy and Nico’s trip to the Underworld was always one of my favorites. I used to reread it over and over again. Now that we know about how Nico felt about Percy, though, it brings a whole new dimension to this scene. D:

Last year today on 5th October (JST), YOI was the first anime to drag me out of my old fandom that I’ve been in for 5 years…also the one that drag me out of drawing slump and push me to work harder to improve my art. I’m really thankful for YOI, I hope it can continue to inspire me in the future! Happy first anniversary!! \(^7^)/
