Les akumas
So up until now, I believe the fandom has been operating under the same assumption when it comes to creating villains:
- Hawkmoth senses his victim
- Akuma is “programmed” specifically for them
- Akuma flies to its target
The akuma also showed no true signs of intelligence. Rather, every action they took could have been interpreted as following simple orders.
However, episode 2 has completely thrown everything into the blender.

I know it’s a rainbow but the placing of people has me..concerned. Especially in light of certain comments and Marvel MCU comparisons made by Hawkdaddy.
Look at the right side: two confirmed villains and Chat Noir, who has a personal connection to both (cos Nathalie is totally about to be Le Paon fight me on this) and significant enough reasons to possibly side WITH them if pushed…
On the left side, we have Ladybug and two girls who pretty much worship her, have no connection of note to the villains, and absolutely no reason to do anything but fight with her…
And then you-know-who in the middle who could, at this point, lean either way.
