the paladins have all grown up so much?

yea, they’re still silly, and pidge is still a kid especially when around Matt. but they’re all….so grown up. Hunk is less soft then he used to be, Lance quips less and he’s more serious. Keith is…….keith. He’s got issues. I could make a whole post about it. Shiro is OBVIOUSLY different, but we haven’t seen enough of him I feel like to determine whether or not he’s ok. Except he’s obv a clone so.

THE WHOLE TEAM DYNAMIC HAS CHANGED! and NOT just because they all switched lions and colors!!!! they’ve each grown into something less teen-like and more into soldiers. they’ve been battle worn. they are not the same people we first met, and i think some people haven’t….considered this?

especially lance. he was so happy-go-lucky and a little hot-headed but now he’s the voice of reason most of the time (even if people don’t listen to him) (shiro)

there’s tension growing between them, especially if shiro keeps underestimating Lance and his ideas and suggestions. and i don’t think it’ll end up well.
