I was thinking about the first time i played Deltarune, and i remember that i really thought it was like Undertale, where if i killed someone there it was gonna be consequences, i also really tried to protect my teammates because i thought they could die forever XD lol

Also, despite the game actually telling me to my face that my choices didn’t matter, i didn’t catch that at first, since one is supposed to had played the first game before; Undertale, which first told us “It’s kill or be Killed” and then it showed how wrong that idea was in the game, so one just starts up Deltarune thinking that that statement was wrong as well.

Also that made me remember how the first time i fought Jevil, i already had seen the ending and i already understood the concept of “choices don’t matter” in this game, and by then i had already understood that Kris, is their own character, and is being used by us the player.. also already knowing how hard it has to be for them, but then what Jevil repeatedly says, that he’s free, that if we want to be free we have to play with him.. (something like that, i don’t remember all)

And the flavor text saying: “Smells like freedom”.

Dunno… but it gave me again a sense of “maybe this will change things?” “maybe i can help Kris be free from my control?”  :0  and in the end that’s what it kept me trying to beat Jevil, (actually my brother had to do it for me lol)  because i thought it could change something later on XD.

and dunno but all the idea of that is just genius.. i freaking love it ^u^ hehe
