if you’re a goy and a jewish person calls something antisemitic then listen to them. even if it’s something that another jewish person did (however, you cannot instigate the discussion on whether or not a jewish person did something antisemitic. instead, follow our lead), listen to them. you do not know our struggles like you think you do. listen to us above everyone else on antisemitic issues.
just because one jewish person says something isn’t antisemitic that doesn’t mean it’s not–it just means you want a shield to hide behind when someone rightfully calls you out on your bullshit. yes, you can be antisemitic on accident without any malicious intent. no, that does not change that you were still antisemitic.
listen to the majority of us. if we say something is antisemitic it is not your place to tell us we’re wrong or to say “but someone said this was okay so it’s not bad.” listen to us.
