Blood related Jagged means Juleka knows Lila is lying too, but maybe she wants to give her the benefit of the doubt. Juleka isn’t confrontational, and knows how hard it is to make friends as the family also used to travel a lot on the Liberty, and her lies never hurt anyone. Maybe if she introduces Lila to Kitty Section, they could get Lila to trust them. But when Luka finds out Lila’s using his Uncle for attention, that Marinette was HURT by Lila, Luka thinks she should just. stay. silent.

A great plausible reason for Silencer. I’m all for this.

I mean, Luka is mature and just doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to obsess over anything so he could just be a normal fan who admires Jagged but isn’t rabid about him. That being said, I do really love your Uncle Jagged headcanons. Like how Juleka loves “creepy” creatures and dangerous animals because she and Luka played with Fang as kids.

That is true. He is a calm and easy going character, going at his speed, just enjoys the moment, which is meant to counter the busy body, expressive, and animated Marinette. He really can be one of the less excited fans, still love him, but just doesn’t share the same energy. But being related to Jagged offers a little more explanation to this, especially when I remember he’s two years older than Juleka, which puts him 15-17 years old, depending on her age. While mature, he should still have his excitable moments; actually would love to see more of Luka being a teenager, having his weird and goofy moments, it’d be a nice expansion to his character.

And you are right. That is an amazing idea to explain where Juleka’s love of creepy and dangerous things came from. All from Fang.

Does Couffaine supposed to be Romani? (Sorry for my English.)

You’re good! I can understand you.

And sadly I have yet to find what Couffaine means or its origin. There is a Scottish flag in their home, suggesting Scottish connection to this family and that’s the most we have.

Only thing I could tell is the meaning of their first names.

Juleka’s name is a variation of Julia, which is largely of Roman origin, and means youth. Julia is also potentially connected to Jupiter, the Roman god of sky and thunder.

Luka’s name is a name that’s a lot more diverse, used in Russia, Latin America, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, ect. Luka potentially comes from the Latin word lux, meaning light. And for a bit of a headcanon, Luka could be a fan of Greek mythology, his hero name, Viperion, is a mix of viper and Hyperion, a Titan associated with the sun and daytime.

And their mom, Anarka, is based on anarchy for her first name.

Oh yes Uncle Jagged so ballsy in Pixellator, standing his ground and acting as the bait even when he was still new to Paris and he hardly knew about Akuma's and it's not even his city and everything was confusing. It was Origins episode 2 levels of balls. What would've happened if Fu was watching the whole thing through TV and next morning, there was a little black box in Jagged's suite?

Well, after the initial freak out, Jagged will be like “hell yeah, I’m going to be a hero”

and then he winds up adopting two younger heroes. Who knew LB and Chat were this young. Why were miraculouses trusted to such kids?

I think the Tiger Miraculous is purple in colour, so it would fit Jagged colour-wise. And I think Fu handing out a Miraculous to an adult would actually make sense, he may trust Marinette & Adrien but they're still children at the end of the day. So, why not add an extra person to watch over them? (Too bad he decided to judge Jagged on his one act of bravery, not realising how much of a child Jagged is himself and not as responsible as he thought)

XD yeah Jagged is not the most mature adults. LB is going to have to be even more of an adult now.

But tiger definitely works color scheme wise, and I’ve seen a theory that the tool could be a guitar, largely playing off Juleka’s earlier concept art.

And can match symbolism too, not only do they symbolize solitude, shadows, and silence; they also symbolize bravery, courage, power, energy, passion, action, and royalty.
