Can we talk about how devastating seeing Soren not being able to move is. Especially when you think back to season one with him just doing squats because he can. You can tell that he just loves to move.
Soren is a bit of an idiot and he’s also really impulsive, but he’s not bad. He’s doing what he’s told and doing what he believes a knight should do. When he attacks the Dragon it’s because his father has always told them that these are mindless beast.
Knowing Claudia came back for him makes me feel so much better. It shows where her priorities lie and also how amazing and close they are as siblings.
The amazing this about these episodes is their bond as sibling and what each are willing to do for the other like Claudia and her dark magic.
I like how Soren even points out how yeah he saved the village, but he also created the problem in the first place.
However it’s also interesting to see that Soren would rather be paralysed and unable to move and unable to complete his mission than go back home and tell his father he failed. He doesn’t want to hurt the boys, but he does want his father to acknowledge him.
