For everyone who asked about future Chat/Adrien, I did a few sketches. I kept his costume pretty close to the original cuz I like it, but simplified a few things to make it easier to draw. Those ankle wrap things are the WORST. Anyway, he’s a young adult here (probably like… REALLY young adult with that baby face.)

Some details might be subject to change, but this is what I got right now!

This one is also loosely based on @hchano’s drawing of adult Chat (and @shishitsunari‘s, because every time I think of adult Chat, I think of hers.)

Development

So the new episode, of season 3 came out of miraculous ladybug, stormy weather 2, aka the creators of the show saw people pointing out that there is nearly no development in the show and they tried to prove us wrong but accidentally proved us right.

Yea, chloe unlike you people change for the better… wait… didn’t you have like several episodes, like 6 episodes of “development” why haven’t you changed for the better?

Tiki I haven’t changed… its almost like the creators of the show have found a formula that works and don’t want to risk going off the formula for fear of failure… wait… didn’t they even say they would keep the love square going and stretch it out as long as possible because thats the main reason people are still watching because the creators can’t write anything outside of that? Oh god, I’m never going to talk to adrien because of poor writing!

Seriously, were the creators just like, “no yea, you guys are right” for this scene

All jokes aside, I do like this show and I don’t want people thinking I’m just trashing on it or hating on it, it just gets a little frustrating, I mean the fact that the show had to point out the “development” really says something, and lets be honest this episode was just that, the creators going “no! Look we do change things!” There was no new villain, we didn’t even see what ladybug and chat noir did to win because it didn’t matter. Honestly the only thing that I can say has developed nicely in this show is Marinette’s and adrien’s friendship, other than that nothing else, because although the episode provided a few examples, what they failed to also point out is that the characters would learn a lesson and “change” for that ONE episode and then forget it by the next. But anyway, what are your thoughts?
