“Why did you leave?” Lucas asked quietly. He sounded heartbroken and betrayed. Keid almost felt bad. Almost.

Keid pulled back when Lucas ran the back of his hand down his cheek. He glared, teeth clenched and ready to fight tooth and nail to get out of here.

“You left me. I loved- I love you so much. And you left me.” Lucas reached out with his hand. Keid jerked away, hissing when the chains stopped him short. Lucas’ hand wrapped around his throat and slowly squeezed.

“Lucas-” He gulped, digging his heel into the ground to try to get away.

Lucas’ face changed. His facade dropped, revealing the twisted smile beneath. He shoved Keid to the ground, hands tightening around the beautiful, slim neck of his past lover.

No. He would make Keid his again.

Keid gasped, clawing at Lucas’ hands as he cut off his hair supply. “Lucas- Lucas please.” He choked out, eyes squeezing shut in pain.

“I will show you who you belong to, Kitten. Bruises on your neck and my name engraved in your arm. I will make the stars in your eyes blink out one by one.”

Keid shook his head desperately, his pleas falling on deaf ears.

“I won’t stop until you are mine. Until you tell me that you love me. Until you forget about that-” Lucas sneered and squeezed harder making Keid kick out his legs. “That Centaur! He does not deserve you! He does not see beauty in you. You are nothing to him!”

Tears slipped down Keid’s cheeks, vision blurring with black. Lucas finally let go, leaving Keid heaving and gasping for air.

“What is your answer, Kitten?”

Keid pushed up onto his hands and knees, wiping at his eyes with the back of his hand. He looked up at Lucas, a man he once loved so dearly, and snarled. “I will never love you.”

Lucas laughed, his frown replaced by a grin. “I can not wait to hear your lovely moans of pain, Kitten.”
