I had a crazy thought about the Disney Villains mashup vid. Thomas said we can interpret it how we want and I think I found another interpretation.
What if the demons are there making a deal with whatever Thomas is instead of us, the pov character, being a human making a deal with him? They’re the ones invited to sit down. They’re the ones Thomas is directing his words at when he says “You’re changing you’re changing you’re changing alright.” And although they’re all identified as ghosts or demons, it’s clear that they’re in a very human setting.
Another thing that makes me think about this is that the line Terrence sings from Shiny is “Far from the ones who abandoned you, chasing the love of these humans that make you feel wanted.” which is overlapped with Foti and Valerie singing “Love is an open door” and followed by Leo singing “Because they guzzle up the things you prize” from the heffalumps song. So what does that mean? Humans are the gateway to something. Humans eat up something or already did it.
Whatever Thomas’ character is, demon, ghost, human, the devil, god of trickery, whatever he is, I think in this case his friends on the other side are humans, and not very nice ones at that. But the demons need to get at them. For one reason or another. For money, for power, for love, for pure fascination, for any of the reasons they hinted at in their lines. I read this as a final meeting between old friends before they do something drastic. Something horrible, greedy, selfish, ultimately damaging to humans and maybe themselves too.
But in any case they need to go to the other side. And what if they need to be summoned or believed in to get there? What if they somehow need to be changed? Or, lose their lives to get where they need to go? They all walk in but none of them walk out and they seem more solemn near the end. Not exactly hesitant but afraid, sad, bittersweet. Like they’re saying goodbye or about to do something really huge.
And as for us, the viewers? We don’t seem to have a place at the table. It’s full whenever the camera pans away. However, Thomas is definitely talking to us. Looking right at us. So are the demons. It also seems from several camera angles that we’re sitting right where Foti and Terrence are. Maybe, then, this room is the gateway between the two sides or we were a necessary part in moving everyone over. Maybe we think we’re in the room alone with him. I think we are there, we do play a role, but this isn’t our story. It’s theirs, and they’re planning something awful and we let them do it. We were likely a pawn in a larger game, whatever we are.
There’s also the possibility of them escaping something bigger hinted at in about the middle of the song with the Cruella De Ville and headless horseman bits.

Dear Santa…
I couldn’t stop thinking about this since the episode of “Chris Master” so it’s basically like when you go and sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what you want

Most miraculous love square fans (And there’s a lot of us) are well aware of the tweet by Tomas Astruc, that confirms that Adrien and Marinette will be a couple at some point in the show’s future.

So woohoo, right? But let’s analyse.
So this tweet states that we will “see Adrien and Marinette as a ‘real’ couple.” However, calm down die hard adrienette fans (And I’m one of them), because this isn’t necessarily for you.
Chat noir is just as 'Adrien’ as Adrien himself is, the only difference being a suit and an uncovered swelled ego. The same can be said for the Ladybug/Marinette situation. So technically, any side(s) of the square can become canon. The trouble is, which one?
I’m writing this just after Season 2, episode 14, Syren. And so far, this season particularly has shown us soft rejection for both the Adrienette and Ladynoir ships. The whole rose/rooftop scene for Ladynoir, and the indirect, but nonetheless “she’s a great friend” rejection when Adrien talks to Kagami. In fact, Adrien friendzones a considerable amount in both seasons. What I’m saying is, with the way it’s set up, it seems that unfortunately neither the Ladynoir or Adrienette sides of the square will be the relationship Tomas tweets about (At first anyway).
So Marichat? Again it seems unlikely. Hey, I love Marichat as much as the next guy, but the show seems to be focusing on building them as the ultimate brOTP, which is in itself great. Paired with this, and the fact that neither has the stronger feelings for the other, it just doesn’t seem likely to be the first side of the square to become canon.
So what does that leave? Ladrien.
And yes, it makes sense. Both are head over heels for each other, and it truly just makes the most sense logically. Especially with that whole scene in Gorizilla.
HOWEVER
I’m not stopping there..
What’s the implications of a Ladrien relationship? First, the smaller things. How will they interact? Not a whole lot, as they’ll probably only meet if Ladybug sneaks into Adrien’s room. The same point could be said about Marichat, but still, compared to Adrienette (School) or Ladynoir (Patrol), there’s not much time for Ladrien fluff to commence.
Or more worrying, will the other dynamics change? Will Chat stop flirting with Ladybug, as he knows she’s in a relationship now? (Even if it’s technically with him but still.) Or, will a jealous side emerge, and make Chat test the waters to see if Ladybug is truly loyal? Will Marinette stop fangirling over Adrien, or will it only get worse? It’s interesting to think about.
Now, this is assuming it’s pre-reveal, which is a thought-provoking possibility. As most of the fandom assume a relationship will spring post-reveal, this would be a clever way for Tomas to sweep the rug from under our feet, as it were.
Going with the idea of pre-reveal, I think an initially “only Ladrien” relationship will eventually lead to the reveal itself. Although it might be plain sailing in the beginning, I’m sure both of our teenage heroes will begin to feel severe insecurity. As both sides feel they can only be in the relationship when in their “attractive”, or, “more-desirable” form, this might lead to the urge of revealing themselves, hoping the other would love them for them, in or out of the suit. And that’s heart-warming y'all.
Would it be so simple? Probably not, considering the potential teenage angst and superhero stress they have to go through. And hey, am I saying this the show will take this route? Not necessarily. However, it has pretty good odds of happening.
BUT HEY
THAT’S JUST A THEORY
A MIRACULOUS THEORY
