ok so, that height difference picture for the rhys, fiona, sasha, and vaughn made me remember something

you guys know this scene right

i decided to recreate this scene as best as i can in sfm to see if vaughn can actually reach to rhys’ shoulder

looks fine right

ha nope

vaughn is just fUCKING FLOATING

ok look i got this-

let us examine this hug:

First, the large nerd comforts the small nerd with a Consoling Shoulder Pat. (see fig. 1)

Then the small nerd, greatly relieved, bursts forward and up! (see fig. 2)

This catches the larger nerd off guard, and pulls him forward and down, bending at the knees. Note smaller nerd balancing on toes due to the other’s large percentage of leg. (see fig. 3)

Having gathered his wits, the tall nerd completes the embrace. (see fig. 4) The hug is a success!

My research is supported by the shot following the moment showing them returning to their original states, bending up and coming down off toes respectively. Thank you.
