This is probably one of the hottest klance fics I’ve ever read…

I still remember how when Shiro said, “Hey, Keith?” in s3e5 as Keith was leaving his room my brain just immediately went:

wHAT

Because that. Is a thing. A trope done over and over in TV/film/etc. Calling out to someone before they go, hesitantly, because you want to tell them how much you love them but your courage falters so you disguise it as something lighter.

And that’s pretty much what happened.

“How many times are you gonna have to save me before this is over?” is Shiro masking the depth of what he’s feeling: I’m so thankful to have you, to know that you look after me. I love you.

“As many times as it takes.” - I love you, too.

Has anyone noticed how upset Keith looks as he turns away to leave?

And how pleased he is when Shiro calls out to him? Maybe he was waiting for something more from Shiro… idk i thought that was worth noting too
