Look I’m a sucker for the “you invited me to your family dinner as your fake boyfriend but I’m in love with you” trope but give me “you invited me to your family dinner as your fake boyfriend and we’re best friends” and give me those two goofballs trying not to burst out laughing every time someone refers to them as a couple or “you invited me to your family dinner as your fake boyfriend even though I hate your guts but I owe you a favor” which of course escalates into a friendship or a relationship I love that or “you invited me to your family dinner as your friend but your family’s making assumptions that don’t really bother me” COME ON PEOPLE LET’S GET MORE CREATIVE

You know, I just love these styles of statues. The ones where people are memorialized doing what they did, where they did it. Instead of a being on a high plinth, where most people only think about it enough to walk around it, these feel more significant. Like their impact on the world was so significant that out of the corner of your eye, it seems like they are still here and doing their thing. So yeah, sit on a bench beside them! Walk to work with them! Take selfies! Look a hero in the eye and say thanks! I just…love these styles of sculptures so much.
