Creating OC children for you favorite ship is cute and the best way to show your support for the ship. Though when it comes to designing characters, there might be controversies about who’s the most “original” one. The thing is, there are only so many way to design a child characters for the same couple, so similarities between different OCs by different artists could happen, and it happens a lot.
Sometimes these similarities would set off fights between artists.
For the past few months, @mewangie has been accused of plagiarism by various fans of another group of famous creators, sometime even by the creators themselves. They concluded that Mewangie’s OC June and Alexa are rip-off of their OC of a very popular AU(We don’t believe it’s anything close to a rip-off, but that’s another topic for another day). Since then, Mewangie had been harrassed by people who kept calling her name, even threaten to “throw her into jail for stealing art”, and it left Mewangie heart-broken.
Mewangie explained the situation in this instagram post.
Luckily, creator @paneyneygirl, who accussed Mewagnie before, later realized her mistake, and reach out to apologize, and they are at peace with each other now(Link to post by Paneyneygirl). If the creator themselves is able to admit their mistake for making false accusation, we think the fans of the creator could also do the same and stop harassing Mewangie. And for the rest of us, we can also send Mewangie our supports, and let’s wish her the best in the future :D

Whoo boy i re watched the latest episode again (and again and again and again an-) and man the ladrien in it was thicc. Not as thick as Adrinette but still.
Also, Adrien, hunny, no. I don’t care how much you love and trust Ladybug, please don’t jump off buildings as Adrien.
I swear, first it was Ladybug and giving up her earrings to Volpina, then it’s Adrien jumping off buildings because his crush told him to.
