Whale Sharks are the largest fish,  with the largest recorded at a length of 12.65m.  They are one of the three filter-feeding sharks,  the other two being the Basking Shark and the Megamouth Shark.  Whale Sharks pose no threat to humans,  and are slow and gentle,  even allowing divers to hold onto the dorsal fin.
