i’m calling it right now that Marvel is going to ‘Breaking Dawn’ us and we’re gonna get a scene with at least 50% of the characters dead and then Dr. Stephen Strange is gonna bring that time back real quick and restart the fight

that would suck if it was the big climax and literally no one dies, but I think if this were to happen at all, there would be a way to make it work if it was done during an early scene where they all go up against Thanos for the first time, they get pulverised and Strange does the time thing, probably with a witty quip of “good thing we have plan b” and the fight starts again
except they lose again. Time reset. They lose. Time reset. They lose. Over and over again until it gets to the point where they can’t keep dying and reliving and fighting and dying and reliving again because they are trying everything and nothing is working
and this could be a really good way to show the hopelessness of the situation early on where Thanos just has two infinity stones and he’s murdering them left and right and there’s nothing to stop him, it can provide a good set up for the rest of the movie as to how dangerous Thanos genuinely is…
…But I swear if they do this at the climax of the movie and there isn’t a genuine threat of death for anyone I’m gonna be pissed
