because having a friend of 10+ years is truly a special thing:
- hunk, looking at lance: “he just thought of something funny so he’s gonna come over to tell us” lance, heading towards them: “hey guys, wanna hear a joke?”
- hunk: “ohh you see that slow grin? he’s gonna go tease keith right..about..now” lance: *does just that*
- coran, amazed: “what is this wizardry?” hunk, shrugging nonchalantly: “what can i say, i’m just that good”
- pidge “did y’all know hunk has a sun tattoo on his back??” lance: “oh yeah, i know. i’ve seen him naked before” keith: “you’ve seen him naked?”
- lance, waving his hand dismissively: “look that’s not interesting-”
- pidge: “not interesting??” lance: “-what’s important is, hunk looks badass with tattoos”
- lance, sending a message to hunk: [this is a code blue. i repeat, this is a code blue] hunk, getting up from the couch: “sorry y’all, i gotta go do something real quick”
- allura: “where are you going?” hunk: “lance got stuck on the toilet with no toilet paper again” lance: [don’t tell them what it means!!!] hunk: “lol whoops”
- shiro: “hey…lance? i just passed by hunk’s room and i heard a bunch of yelling and cursing coming from inside. is he okay?” lance: “oh yeah, don’t worry about it, he’s just working on a new project”
- shiro: “are you sure? it sounded kinda intense” lance: “he’s fine. it’s when it gets quiet that you gotta worry. that’s when the real shit’s about to go down”
- hunk: “lance do you know where i put the-” lance: “you left it in your toolbox” hunk: “how about the-” lance: “also in the toolbox”
- lance: “have you seen my-” hunk: “i put it in your closet, go look there” allura, whispering to the others: “are they secretly mind readers?” shiro: “no, it’s just the power of friendship”
