a reminder

Shipping gay people isn’t activism and excusing your homophobia with a gay ship is disgusting

Shipping pedophilla, incest, and abuse isn’t a healthy coping mechanism on a public website that can trigger other people who have been through that trauma is terrible

People who don’t like ships like incest, pedophilla, abuse, and those that fetishize gay relationships are not “thoughtpolice.” You cry about freedom of speech but an “”“"anti”“”“ has a right to say their opinion as much as you do. Freedom of speech does not equal freedom of consequences.

You are not being hindered by a young follower or any follower asking you to tag something. Shut up about fandom purity culture and how kids should shut up and just tag the nsfw like a decent person.

Fiction impacts reality. You can’t bitch and moan about representation in media, while in the same breath say fiction doesn’t impact reality. A young girl only seeing male heroes and sexualized women in distress can make her feel like total shit.

A 15 year old is not a threat to your fandom. A kid is not policing fandom. If you don’t think you’re a toxic part of the fandom, you most likely are a part of it.

Ships are not as important as you think they are.

Artist Peter Cook, grew this living garden chair using tree shaping methods, primarily training a living tree through constricting the direction of branch growth. The chair took about eight years to grow.

ultraviol-et

risingconfidence

He grew a tree into a chair. He can wear whatever the fuck he wants.

hamtigers
