me internally: please be the villain, please PLEASE BE THE VILLAIN
please dont spoil me if youve seen the movie or read the books but I think thats actually too obvious in terms of figure wise, because so far he’s been shown to love supers
my bet is on the sister because pixar seems to be pushing the feminine characters to the spot light, the voice is transformed when using the mask, it’s a character i havent seen on trailers but on the behind the scenes she was there and the only new characters there was the brother and voyd so she has to be important and in one of the lines recorded she says “sorry im late” when arriving to a scene and maybe im reading too into it and maybe shes just the clumsy late type but my imidiate thoughts were like “where were you huh? late to a meeting with these superheroes stars?” and i think its not the brother cause i think brad bird is smarter than that and he already made the fanboy character the villain in the other movie so voyd and him are excluded
but idk
i trust brad bird but i honestly dont want the villain to be the sister, i would prefer that they ended the villain reveal trope once and for all cause its getting old tbh and while it creates plot twists i cant say that those are exactly well done since most of the time i end up feeling like “really? its this one?”(and im not necessarely talking about disney movies like wonder woman comes to mind)
plz dont spoil me but does anyone share the same opinion? or other?
