And then factor in that it wasn’t made clear if there was any consequence to the Ladybug holder if they did, like if they could kiss the BC holder and be ok, then yeah it just makes no sense, why let them suffer? Anyway, only thing I can think of is possibly there are restrictions that keep the wearer from telling LB about the curse, for a lot of LBs usually would give the BC a kiss to free them, even if there was a consequence, like, not being LB anymore. 

Our canon Marinette would. If Chat Noir told her he was suffering bad luck, even knowing from Tikk that she’d never be LB again, she’d still give him a kiss to free him. Tikki can always find another, she may not like it, but Marinette wouldn’t support someone suffering and being forced into something they don’t want to be in. And just because she’s not LB anymore, doesn’t mean Marinette still wouldn’t help ever. She’d do what she can, she doesn’t need the earrings to do so (though they are helpful in facing akumas). 

So that’d be my conclusion on why the BC holders can’t tell LB, there’s a magical restriction that keeps them from sharing it.
