I’m sorry to be bringing politics in here but I need to address this.
So…..article 13 has passed. No more freedom in the internet for Europe. But this will not go into effect immediately. It will take each member state two years to so your memes, art, videos and such are still ok for now. So in the meantime, here’s what you can do: if you live in any EU state/country, there will be elections coming up in May. Which means you will have a chance to vote out all the greedy people who voted for this. If you know anyone who lives there, contact them ASAP. We may have lost the fight, BUT we have not lost the war. Just like with Net Neutrality in the US. If we vote for the right people, who knows how much they could fix this mess and possibly write article 13 in a way that actually works for both politicians and the public. It’s not the end everyone, keep your head held high and we might just win this digital war.
