They have to stay with the trolls, to protect them and the new heart stone (in possibly New Jersey) but they have a lot in Arcadia they would never just leave all that behind to only visit once. I mean their best friends, parents and Claire’s baby brother.
I can see them coming back for holidays, possible adventures (Arcadia just attracts the weird), and special events like graduations, weddings (stricklake wedding I hope) and maybe birthdays. :)

and after that he tried running away because he thought he can’t fit-in in both human and troll worlds. but his friends and family were there /desperately/ finding him because they were worried af and they want to reassure him that everything would be alright.
and in the end, everything turned out to be alright….but i neED SEASON 4 TO KNOW IF THEY ARE GONNA BE ALRIGHT (or shorts please, I NEED SHORTS)
