here’s an hour and a half stream compressed into a couple minutes for the people who wanted to see my process!!
-I don’t always go and find references but it makes things much quicker and if I have a particular image in my head then I’ll try and hunt something down to use as a base
-I flip the canvas a lot to give my eyes a fresh perspective! makes it much easier to spot mistakes. I learned this years ago and its so useful. if you don’t work digitally then you can do it ‘manually’ by holding your art up to a mirror!
